It has three major meanings: (1) one in whom you can trust and believe, (2) one who is benign and innocuous, and (3) one who is fearless and courageous. It is also argued that the word means beautiful.
MY APPROACH
I exclusively work in a photojournalistic style, meaning I'm there focussing on capturing the story of your day, inserting myself into your day as little as possible. With some careful pre-planning I'm able to be exactly where you need me to be, without interrupting the beautiful moments as they unfold.
With a mix of digital and analog photography, my aim is to create an authentic and seamless gallery which serves you and your families for generations to come. We've all seen our grandparents and parents albums, the excitement of turning each page and talking through the guests in each image. I want that for you, just in its contemporary form. I want you to be excited to share your photos with your loved ones, and to really relive all the most special moments with all their authentic detail and colour. I create editorial wedding photography you will treasure.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
I want you to have a relaxed journey throughout your wedding planning, so I am here as an expert in weddings, an extra bridesmaid (you can talk all things weddings with me, I love it), a cheerleader who just wants you and your partner to have the best bloody day and of course your favourite photographer.
I’ll answer any questions you have, no matter how small or silly they might seem, I want you to feel supported and like you are working with a friend. From the moment you first get in touch I’ll work with you to have the best experience possible. I like to have coffee meetups, video chats or venue recces, depending on what it is you need to feel prepared in the run up, and relaxed on your day. It’s super important that you fully trust me, and I can have the creative freedom to deliver the results you are wanting (and more).

I’m Em, and I’m the one you’ll see on your wedding day with the camera. I often get told by my couples that they feel like they’ve known me forever, and that it’s like spending time with a friend.
That sums up so well how I want you to feel, I want you to feel like you can be yourselves and totally relax. I’m a bit of an introvert, but I’m also an absolute ninja when it comes to documenting your wedding.
I will work tirelessly to document every important moment for you because let’s be honest, weddings are full to the brim with joy, but they happen so fast. I’m witnessing your day, solely focussing on preserving each incredible memory you make. Outside of the world of weddings I’m a mum of two boys (three if you include my husband), I am the Harry Potter generation, I live for noodles and I drink way too much coffee (more recently decaf, because you know, I’m not an animal).
